Our Warranty
     
All fabrics are pro-rated for three years from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.  Frames and metal accessories are guaranteed for three years from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty is to the original purchaser, non transferable and valid only if all written instructions provided with the product are followed including any annual maintenance, cleaning, and storage during harsh weather conditions as stated in product instructions, damages from improper use, maintenance, and storage are not covered.  Warranty coverage shall be determined by Sunsational Products sole discretion, please read their returns policy carefully, and feel free to contact us for further details.

All of our products are shipped within 3-4 weeks. They are insured, guaranteed, and shipped ground freight - right to your door. Assembly instructions are always included. Most assembly only takes minutes.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT AWNING FABRICS?

The fabric used for Awnings-in-a-Box is marine-grade. It has been selected for use because of its durability in all types of weather, and the ease of cleaning.
Your awnings may be cleaned with a mild soap solution (not detergent) as needed. Any scrubbing will not degrade the marine grade fabric (as is the case with treated acrylic fabric). The decorative braid is 100% cotton (the same used on custom awnings) and may also be cleaned with a mild soap solution.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY FOR AWNINGS-IN-A-BOX?

The fabric has a pro-rated 3-year warranty against manufacturer's defects in the product. In colder regions, awnings should be removed throughout the winter period to avoid snow build-up on the awnings (they are easy to remove by loosening the head rod clamps).
The frame hardware has a full 3-year warranty, with the same quality components used in custom awnings. Long life hardware can be used for many years. New replacement awning covers are available if you desire a change in color.

CAN I INSTALL AWNINGS-IN-A-BOX BY MYSELF?

Yes, one person can handle the complete installation in most cases. Most installations require minimal tools (screwdriver, drill, pliers, tape measure). All parts are included except lead or concrete shields.

HOW WILL MY NEW AWNING FIT ON MY WINDOW?

Awnings-in-a-Box are designed to extend beyond the widths of most windows.

WHAT CAN MY AWNING BE INSTALLED ON?

Awnings-in-a-Box can be installed on concrete, brick, wood, vinyl or aluminum. Care should be taken on vinyl and aluminum to ensure the bottom hinges are secured either in studs or with self-tapping tap screws.

SHOULD I LEAVE MY AWNING UP YEAR ROUND?

Sunsational Products are engineered to accommodate moderate winds but should be removed during extreme winds or snow.

Our awnings are engineered to accommodate typical wind movement by remaining flexible, and during extreme winds or snow they are easy to remove (a 5 minute process.) The fabric may be removed from the frame and rolled.

WHAT IS THE LIFE EXPECTANCY FOR MY AWNING?

Awnings-in-a-Box are designed to provide lasting beauty for many years and when treated properly should last 12 to 15 years.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO CARE FOR AWNINGS-IN-A-BOX?

We recommend cleaning the fabric with a mild soap solution (not detergent) annually or as needed. Keep the underside of your awning clean by brushing with a household broom.
